Bloxham, St Mary - Our Lady of Bloxham
The parish Church of St Mary - Our Lady of Bloxham, Bloxham is situated, appropriately enough, on the east side of Church Street (A361) in the middle of this sizable village. There is limited parking nearby with some roadside spaces south of the church. managed to park a little north on Old Bridge Road.
The long churchyard reaches the eastern edge of the village and opens onto fields. Ringing takes place on the ground floor where there is plenty of space to ring the eight bells. The tenor at 26-3-7 is the second heaviest in the Oxford Diocesan Guild.

My first visit was on Thursday 21st February 2013 as the first tower
[2nd,
3rd,
4th]
of the 280th Mid-week Outing
of the
Four Shires Guild.
All the bells except for the tenor were already up when we arrived. After the tenor was rung up I only rang the once and that was for a touch of Grandsire Triples on bell #5.

My second visit was on Saturday 21st September 2013 as the second tower [1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th] of the WDCRA Southern Branch 2013 Tour.
As with my previous visit all the bells except for the tenor were already up when we arrived. I rang the Tenor twice, both times for Grandsire Triples. I managed to ring a touch of Stedman Triples on #4, a bit rough but ... unfamiliar bells ... I finished by ringing some Rounds & Call Changes on #6.
