Southam, St James
The Southam Parish Church of St James is just west of the Market Place in an attractive, sizable churchyard. There is parking in the Market Place but time is limited so I chose to park on Warwick Street.
Ringing takes place on the ground floor. The room is entered through a door in a glazed arch between the nave and the tower. These were nice bells to ring.

I visited for the first time on Thursday 16th February 2012 as the third tower
[1st,
2nd,
4th]
of the 268th Mid-week Outing
of the
Four Shires Guild.
I rang some Rounds and Call Changes on bell #5 and a little later rang a touch of Stedman Triples (unaffected) on the same bell.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 15-1-25 in E. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St James.
The Coventry Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers also have information on the Southam Parish Church of St James.
