Bubbenhall, St Giles
The Bubbenhall Parish Church of St Giles is in the west of this small village town of Warwickshire. The church is at the end of a short lane off Church Road. The churchyard boundary is only 50m from the River Avon. There is some parking beside the churchyard.
Ringing takes place on the ground floor.

My first visit was on Thursday 12th December 2013 as the second tower
[1st,
3rd,
4th]
of the 290th Mid-week Outing
of the
Four Shires Guild.
I started by ringing up bell #4 and a little later rang #4 again for a touch of Plain Bob Minor. The lengths of the ropes varied enormously and in the case of #4 I was catching above the sally. Bell 4 was also a bit rough to ring, may have been the path of the rope higher up.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 5-1-13 in Bb. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Giles.
The Coventry Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers also have information on the Bubbenhall Parish Church of St Giles.
