Beaudesert, St Nicholas
The Beaudesert Parish Church of St Nicholas is located just east of the River Alne and just a couple of hundred yards from the Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Henley in Arden. The churchyard is on the side of a hill, locally known as The Mount
, topped by the remains of Beaudesert Castle. The church is on the north side of Beaudesert Lane which starts at High Street, Henley in Arden. There is some parking beside the churchyard.
Ringing takes place on the ground floor. The original ring of three bells was extended to six and the work was completed in the Autumn of 2013.

My first visit was on Saturday 18th January 2014 when I took the opportunity afforded by a fund raising event to try this new ring of 6.
I started by ringing bell #5 for a touch of Stedman Doubles. Later I rang the treble for Cambridge and again for London -- the first time I have rung for anything other than Cambridge. The bells were a little loud but both bells that I rang went nicely.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 6-2-12 in B. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Nicholas.
