Middleton Stoney, All Saints
The parish Church of All Saints, Middleton Stoney is in Middleton Park, in the southwest of the village. The church is reached via a private road which starts just south of the crossroads formed by the B430 and B4030. There is parking at the church.
The church is in a delightful setting surrounded by extensive parkland. Ringing takes place on the ground floor and the entrance to the ringing room is through a door in the soutwest face of the tower. The room has white walls and a ladder with a safety cage up to the bells. The room is not very big but provides space for a few people to sit in addition to those ringing the six bells.

My first visit was on Thursday 17th January 2013 as the first tower
[2nd,
3rd
4th]
of the 279th Mid-week Outing
of the
Four Shires Guild.
I started by ringing up bell #5 followed by a touch of Grandsire Doubles. Most of the ropes were very long and before a touch of Plain Bob Minor on bell #5 I shortened my rope.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 9-2-12 in A♭. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at All Saints and more information is provided by the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.
