Cirencester, St John the Baptist

The parish Church of St John the Baptist, Cirencester, is situated on the north side of the Market Place in this Cotswold market town. There is parking in the Market Place but there are other, larger, car parks nearby.

Entrace to the tower is from inside the church and the ringing room is reached by climbing ~100 steps up a stone spiral staircase. A you would expect for a tower with 12 bells the room is a good size with white walls and 2 small windows on each face.
