Hatherop, St Nicholas

The Victorian era parish Church of St Nicholas, Hatherop, is in the south-west of this small Cotswold village. The nearest parking is on the side of the road that runs east-west through the village.

The tower is the middle of the church. The ringing room is reached by climbing the 35 steps of a stone spiral staircase. The entrance to the staircase in on the outside of the tower. The yellow painted ringing room is quite large but the bells are oddly arranged and bells #1 and #5 have a shallow alcove to allow a little more room to ring them.
