Cheltenham, St Mark

The Church of St Mark is located at the corner where Chad Road meets Church Road just north of the A40 in the west of the town of Cheltenham. I parked on the roadside.

Access to the ringing room is via a door in the outside of the tower and then via a 20 wooden step clockwise spiral staircase. The ringing room has nice open view over the nave and carpeted in red.

The Bells

The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 16-1-2 in F. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Mark and more information is provided by the Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers.
