Newbold-on-Avon, St Botolph
The parish Church of St Botolph, Newbold-on-Avon is on the south side of Main Street in what is now a district of Rugby. At the eastern edge of the churchyard is the River Avon. I parked on Main Street.
The church is set in a large well kept churchyard. The ringing room is reached by climbing a short spiral staircase. There is an open view trhough an arch onto the nave and an arched window opposite. There is a long draught.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 10th July 2010 as the second church of the "Two Hundred and Fiftyfirst Mid-week Outing" of the Four Shires Guild of Bell Ringers. I rang up bell #7, rang Rounds and Call Changes on bells #8 and #9.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 10 bells with a tenor weighing 12-0-1 in F♯. Dove's Guide includes details of these bells. More information about the tower is provided by the Coventry Diocesan Guild.
