Church Lawford, St Peter
The parish Church of St Peter, Church Lawford is on the east of the village at the end of Church Road. The village is on the north side of the A428 which runs roughly west east starting at Coventry. There is parking beside the church.
The church is set in a nice secluded churchyard with views east to the nearby River Avon. The church was rebuilt in Victorian times on the site of it's medieval predecessor. Ringing is from the ground floor.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 10th July 2010 as the third, and final, church of the "Two Hundred and Fiftyfirst Mid-week Outing" of the Four Shires Guild of Bell Ringers. I rang up bell #3, rang the Tenor for a touch of Stedman Doubles and finished by ringing a touch of Grandsire Doubles on bell #3. All the bells that I rang were were nice to ring.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 7-3-5 in B♭. Dove's Guide includes details of these bells. More information about the tower is provided by the Coventry Diocesan Guild.
