Staunton-on-Arrow, St Peter
The Staunton-on-Arrow Parish Church of St Peter is easy enough to find in this small village. Parking space is limited.
You enter a door in the outside of the tower and climb a stone spiral staircase to the ringing room. This is quite a small tower with just 6 light bells, though there is plenty of room to ring.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 18th April 2009 for a practical session during the Hereford Ringing Course. I rang up bell #5 and then attempted a touch of Bob Minor on bell #3. The ropes were long, I had to shorten mine to ring.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 6-1-16 in B♭. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter.
The Hereford Diocesan Guild of bellringers also have information on the Staunton-on-Arrow Parish Church of St Peter. No information on the bells history or inscriptions was to be found.
