Eardisland, St Mary the Virgin
The Eardisland Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin [listing] is located in the south-west of this small village a short distance from the A44. There is very little space to park beside the church on Church Road, I parked roadside between the two pubs, The Cross Inn and The White Swan.
The church is set in an attractive churchyard. Ringing takes place on the ground floor.

I visited for the first time on Sunday 1st January 2012 to join their service ringing on New Year's Day.
I started by ringing up bell #3 followed by a touch of Grandsire Triples. We then rang some Plain Bob Triples, more Grandsire Triples and ended with me ringing down the Tenor. Nice bells.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 12-2-26 in G. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Mary the Virgin with more information provided by the Hereford Diocesan Guild of bellringers.
