Dyrham, St Peter
The Parish Church of St Peter is in Dyrham Park, a baroque mansion on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment now in the care of the National Trust. There is a path that leads to the Church near the main gate to the house on Upper Street, this is not the entrance used to enter the National Trust property. Parking is limited to a few spaces on the verge near the gates.
The ringing room is reached by climbing the 33 stone steps of a narrow spiral staircase. The entrance to the staircase is inside the tower. There is some limited seating for those not ringing the 6 bells.

I started by ringing up bell #5. I followed this with a touch of Grandsire Doubles on bell #3.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing ~13-0-0 in F♯. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter and some additional information provided by The Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers.
