Crantock, St Carantoc
The parish church of St Carantoc, Crantock is located west of the village on the cliffs south of Crantock Castle and is reached by following the narrow Vicarage Hill [road] from Fore Street in Crantock. There is parking near the church. The South West Coast Path also passes by the western boundary of the churchyard. Ringing is from the ground floor.

I visited for the first time on Thursday 25th May 2017 while on holiday and walking the South West Coast Path. I joined the weekly practice and had an enjoyable evening ringing. As is quite commom in Cornwall the ringing was mostly Rounds & Call Changes. As is also commom in Cornwall, I was made very welcome and over the evening I rang all six bells.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 9-1-14 in G. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Carantoc and more information is provided by the Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers.
