Belton-in-Rutland, St Peter
The parish Church of St Peter is on the North side of Church St in the North of the small village of Belton-in-Rutland. There is limited parking nearby on Church St.
We had a very nice reception from the local host who likes to encourage visiting ringers and made us very welcome with tea and biscuits! Ringing is from the ground floor.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 3rd July 2010 as the fourth church of the Four Shires Guild of Bell Ringers tour. I rang a touch of Grandsire Doubles and a touch of Plain Bob Minor. Both of the bells that I rang went nicely.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 10-0-24 in G. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter and more information is provided by the Peterborough Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers.
