The Annual Ringing Tour this year has reverted to a single day. Richard Lewis-Skeath has wrought his magic once again and has arranged 8 towers for our delectation around Faringdon, an area that is effectively 'just down the road'. This promises to be, once again, an excellent Tour. If only the weather can contrive be the same as on last year's Tour…
Here is the itinerary as it's known at the moment: book the date now. Most towers are confirmed at the time of writing.

FARINGDON | 8 (17-1-7 in E) (complete Taylor 8, 1926 vintage) |

SHELLINGFORD | 6 (6-2-10 in B) | 11.45am |

* Arranging a ringing tour three months in advance is likely to attract changes, so final arrangements will be shown on the FSG web-site in the fortnight before the tour. Check there, or with the Organiser (see below) before departing! |
Organiser is Richard Lewis-Skeath, to whom, once again, all thanks.
At the 2010 AGM the Guild established a Bell Restoration Fund, from which the Committee are empowered to offer grants towards suitable aspects concerning rings of bells within the Guild's area of operation. Such aspects may include a range of needs, from maintenance to augmentations.
Rules and Constitution of the Fund and application forms are available from the Honorary Secretary.
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 3RD SATURDAY IN OCTOBER (18TH) THIS YEAR, NOT THE 2ND SATURDAY AS IN THE PAST.
(Location will be Whichford, Warks)

You can do this separately or in conjunction with the Module 1 programme - work with a Mentor as Module 1.
Neither module is just a one-day course; - to succeed, teaching and mentoring afterwards is essential to ensure the ideas and techniques are put into practice and are properly understood.
