I hope that you will be as pleased as I am that our application to become affiliated to the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers was accepted by the Council at its meeting in Derby on May 31st. Our thanks go to the Guild members who prepared our presentation to the CC's Administrative Committee, which recommended it to the Council. The vote was overwhelming - approximately 200 to 2! I had a conversation with two members of the Admin Committee and they both said the Guild was recognised as a 'lively' and 'vigorous' organisation. Thank you Andrew for being a caretaker delegate. On our behalf I gave an appreciation to the Council.
