There was no Committee meeting held in the quarter between July and September 1915. The next entry is the Minutes of the 1915 Annual General Meeting, which was held in October.

However, while it’s not strictly an Archive of the Four Shires Guild as such — although it’s very likely the people concerned knew about it, as Adlestrop is close to Moreton and Todenham  — I was given a copy of this delightful photo of the Adlestrop ringers in 1913 by Ralph Price, who is the person in Adlestrop who has been pushing for many years to have the bells there rehung. That is, of course, now beginning to happen. Although having only 5 bells then (the same bells as now), there were seven ringers in the village. They clearly didn’t greatly worry about the ropes dropping down about 4 inches from the walls. Perhaps they had hard knuckles…!

Similarly, there was no Committee meeting held in the quarter between July and September 1975. The next entry is the Minutes of the 1975 Annual General Meeting, which was held in October.
