VE DAY RINGING AT GREAT WOLFORD
On Saturday morning 9th May from 10.30 to 11.15 local ringers rang Great Wolford’s church bells to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VE day. We rang called changes of a course of Grandsire doubles and very good it was too! The band consisted of; (back row left to right) James van Helden, Steve Duck, Keith Murphy, (front row left to right) Tom Baker, Shirley Wrench and John Wrench.

FATHERS & SONS PEAL
Robert Hall came across this photo of a Fathers & Sons peal he rang in Essex on 28th October 1978. He is in the front row with his son, Michael, for whom it was his first peal. He wondered whether anyone else has rung a fathers & sons peal?
