The Central Council does many things other than hold a large meeting every year. It has committees that do the real work. They deal with all aspects of ringing.
One of the these committees is the Tower Stewardship Committee. This Committee, which was formed in 2006, can be described as a ‘One-Stop Shop' for towers and Ringing Masters/Tower Captains/whatever the leader is called. It deals with everyday items for running a tower and running a practice, and offers advice in the form of printed sheets on lots of things that happen, or need to happen, in towers.
