For many, a lovely, quiet holiday destination off Cornwall, with sun, sea, sandy beaches and a sub-tropical climate. Renowned for it world-famous Tresco Abbey Gardens, ships' figure-heads museum, ancient fortifications, etc, the islands offer an attractive
get away from it all break.
But now there is something to listen out for apart from the birds and the breakers on the beaches — the sound of bells. A ring of 8, cast at Whitechapel Foundry, was installed at St Mary's Church and dedicated in 2009.
