Have you paid your S U B S C R I P T I O N?.

FSG subs were due on 1st January 2019. The rates are £5 for members and £2 for Juniors (under 18). If you haven't paid yet, please do so soon. (Please note: those who haven't paid their subs by June 30th will cease to receive the Newsletter)

The present occupant of these two posts is giving up one of these later this year.

As announced in the April 2018 Newsletter, Chris Povey has decided to resign the post after the July 2019 Newsletter. Nobody has come forward to take over from him. However, he has agreed to continue being Newsletter Editor, BUT will only do this if he gives up the post of Honorary Secretary, which he has held since 2014. Chris has said he will give up one of these posts come the 2019 AGM. If no-one comes forward for either of these posts by that time, he will choose which one of these to discontinue.

Both of these posts are important to the overall running of the Guild. If you feel unable to be the Newsletter Editor, but believe you could be the Honorary Secretary, please consider taking over this post. Chris will continue through the AGM and write the Minutes, but the new Hon Sec needs to be in post to take over from there. If you wish to know more about the Secretary's post (or the Editor's), please contact Chris or me soon, as time is running out.
